Nose Work For Dogs
We are proud to lead the way by being the first dog training facility in Tucson to offer Nose Work for Dogs. Nose Work for Dogs takes the dog’s keen sense of smell and puts it to the test. Scent detection training has been going on for decades and is used predominately by professions such as law enforcement, border patrol and search and rescue. At last it is being offered as a new sport for all dogs. And I do mean ALL dogs.
There are no prerequisites other than the dog must have a nose. Since each dog is trained individually, it does not have to be good with other dogs. The dog does not have to be obedience- trained. A high food drive or play drive would be an asset.
